In March 1986, Geoff and Lorraine Germain established Germain and Sons Pty Ltd. Trading as Germain Seafoods, the business started in a small office in their family home however it wasn’t long before the company out-grew that space.

As business grew, Geoff never lost sight of his core values to be reliable & honest with an emphasis on customer service & quality products. To this very day, whether you are a supplier or customer, big or small this commitment remains the same. From this dedication to our customers and suppliers, Geoff coined the phrase ‘If it’s Genuine, it’s Germain’.

Today, almost 40 years on, Germain Seafoods remains 100% Australian family-owned and operated. Since Geoff’s passing in 2014, his eldest son Justin has proudly carried the torch, keeping the same values alive in every order we deliver.

Our mission hasn’t budged since 1986: stay genuine, grow fairly, and only win when our customers and suppliers win with us.
